I’m Md. Roshidul Hasan, Professor of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh. Currently, I was the Proctor of the University for more than 4 years. I also deliver my speech as an invited guest in One Asia Forum, Kuala Lumpur which was held on December 8-12, 2009 Organized by Asian Youth Council.
Currently, I’m the founding President of Asian Network of Youth Volunteers Society (ANYVS), One Bangladesh and the Founding President of E-village Foundation in Bangladesh. I’m the founder and chief coordinator of “The Green Volunteers” and Senior Vice President of Youth for Peace and Development Bangladesh. I’m the central coordinators of all public university teachers and intellectuals in Bangladesh namely, Sonaartoree and One Bangladesh. I have vast experience in different youth organization is serving as an executive committee member of national and international youth and students association in his past. I was the founding President of Malaysian Remote Sensing Society Student Society, President of UPMISA, Malaysia Vice President of Bangladeshi Expatriate Professional Society in Malaysia.
My research has focused on ICT for rural development & youth empowerment. I have published several scientific articles in different international journals and I have copyrighted research product, SMAL (Spatial Macro Language). I received several GOLD MEDALs for my research contributions. I’m also the inventor of low-cost integrated sensor devices for agriculture called E-village. I have vast experience in the field of youth leadership skill development, youth empowerment, women participation in ICD4D and Big data analytics.
I am an editor of several scientific journals, conference proceedings and magazines including American Journal of Agricultural Science Engineering and Technology. I served as head of the secretariat of World Engineering Congress 2010, and The MRSS 6th International Remote Sensing & GIS Conference and Exhibition 2010. I’ve also experienced as Lead Convener of organizing several international events including GIS Day in Malaysia.
